April 28, 2022, marked the official “Day One” of the online presence and building up this community. It also marks the beginning of the journey to produce and publish regular content, helping others to navigate technology and work with others.

Check out what I had to say about it all to mark the occasion, and subscribe to the channel to keep an eye out for practical content and new ideas in the days ahead.

Today’s the day! I’m outside on this beautiful trail and Foundational Things – in my mind, anyway – officially launches today: April 28th, 2022. Foundational Things is an idea that’s been kicking around for a really long time and I’m excited to get doing something with it. Basically, as a starting point, I just want to help people get more comfortable with technology and get more comfortable with people.

00:00:42:08 – 00:01:14:21
The two things go together in my mind, and I want to take that philosophy and turn it into something wonderful. Be able to help people and create a brand around just providing so much value to help people connect and gain that confidence that is just sorely lacking in so many people’s experience. And I think we can make a way forward that is maybe a little countercultural and I’m really looking forward to it.

00:01:14:21 – 00:01:58:05
I’ve got a lot in mind. I’ve got a lot of hopes and dreams around this. And today’s the day we officially start on the journey. So, if you’re watching this, whether it’s today or sometime in the future, I just thank you for being a part of the journey. And I hope for… just to build a really great community and to provide things that you need to really move forward and just enjoy life more without being… ahh, just, being so bogged down by frustrations with technology. Or frustrations with how to communicate with people that are just coming from a different place.

00:01:58:26 – 00:02:05:22
So… ahh, welcome on the journey and thank you for being part of it and looking forward to some really great days ahead.
